Vivian Vasallo

Vice President for Early Detection

Vivian Vasallo is Vice President for Early Detection. She leads and manages the efforts at UsAgainstAlzheimer’s to identify Alzheimer’s disease in its earliest stages. By focusing on early detection, she is working to improve diagnosis rates and change a health system that fails to diagnose people with Alzheimer’s and related dementias about half the time and diagnoses Black and Latino Americans at later stages.

Vivian brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, having previously served as Managing Director at Milken Institute Center for the Future of Aging and Vice President at the AARP Foundation, among other leadership roles. With a proven track record of leading health-related initiatives and her commitment to advancing Alzheimer’s research and advocacy, Vivian is well positioned to take the impact of UsAgainstAlzheimer’s early detection efforts to the next level.

Vivian holds a Master of Arts from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Arts from American University’s School of International Service.
